Desert Flight Makes European Premiere; award-winning documentary to partake in historic Dublin Horse Show

The connection between horse and human knows no geographical bounds. Every country has its fair share of equine lovers and some countries are particularly horse crazed. Ireland is one such where the Dublin Horse Show marks its 151st edition this week and it’s a special one as it is the centennial of women’s participation in the event. American equine documentary DESERT FLIGHT found a natural fit in supporting this awesome occasion.

Thursday the 8th of August is Ladies Day and DESERT FLIGHT is the presenting sponsor of the premiere class which will run as a Battle of the Sexes in the evening. “After being invited to screen Desert Flight for the general attendance of the Dublin Horse Show we saw an incredible opportunity to support the main event of Ladies Day in celebration of this incredible milestone” commented Steve Williams, the film’s representative.

Desert Flight which spent 2018 traveling the North American continent while winning awards and streaming on the U.S. Equestrian’s USEF Network is stretching its legs to bring the heartfelt stories of equestrians and their horses worldwide.

DESERT FLIGHT will screen in the concert hall of the RDS grounds also known at Hall 7 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday as a part of the Horse Play Programming, a new initiative to bring family friendly and educational content to the show environment.

The film has received rave reviews since its world premiere at WEG in 2018 and winning the best overall prize at the EQUUS Film Festival in New York in December 2018. Premieres such as this throughout European countries will be run in anticipation of an upcoming on demand expasnded release.
